Building a Vinatex that is Civilized – Efficient – Humane – Tradition

Saturday, 07/02/2026, 10:20

On February 6, in Nam Dinh, Office 1 of the Vietnam National Textile and Garment Group (Vinatex) hosted its Spring Welcome 2026 program. Attending the event were Mr. Le Tien Truong, Chairman of Vinatex; Mr. Cao Huu Hieu, CEO of Vinatex; Ms. Pham Thi Thanh Tam, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Textile and Garment Trade Union; members of the Board of Directors; the Group’s executive management; leaders of member units; and all staff and employees of Vinatex Office 1.

In the cultural setting of the Nam Dinh Textile and Garment Traditional House, Vinatex also organized the Tet Fair 2026 and the year-end party (YEP) to review its 2025 performance. This special event marked the Group’s 30th anniversary, a year in which business results set a new record—with profit surpassing the 2021 peak—and also the first year in the Group’s 30-year history in which the entire system had no underperforming units.

In his remarks at the program, Chairman Le Tien Truong emphasized that holding the event at the Textile and Garment Traditional House in Nam Dinh was intended as a way to “report” the Group’s achievements—to President Ho Chi Minh and to the forebears of the textile and garment trades—on the Vietnam National Textile and Garment Group’s 30 years of construction and development. He stressed that the accomplishments recorded in 2025 were not a surprise but an inevitable result that the Group was bound to achieve.

Recognizing and expressing gratitude for employees’ persistent efforts, the Group’s leadership affirmed that Vinatex is facing a brighter future on a stronger foundation. Amid constant shifts in global markets, the capability to manage volatility will become a core competitive strength of the Vietnam National Textile and Garment Group. Rather than fearing uncertainties or blaming external factors, Vinatex has adopted a proactive mindset—determined to “take control of the game.” The Vinatex ship will be steered steadfastly toward the goal of becoming a Civilized – Efficient – Humane – Tradition group, resolute in overcoming all challenges.

Alongside inheriting the valuable legacy of previous generations, Vinatex needs to continue building “new traditions”—the traditions of modern governance and proactive responses to every development. This is seen as a decisive prerequisite for the Group to grow steadily in all aspects: management, business efficiency, and corporate culture.

Chairman Le Tien Truong noted that the overarching guiding principle of the 14th National Party Congress Resolution—“Deep understanding – Do it right – Follow through to the end”—is closely aligned with the Group’s political mission and its production and business operations. He affirmed that at this stage, Vinatex cannot compete through diligence and hard work alone; it must compete through intelligence. And intelligence can only emerge when “we truly understand deeply, act correctly, and follow through to the end.”

Accordingly, “Follow through to the end in every task” has officially been set as the 2026 action message, aiming to improve overall performance across the entire Vinatex system.

“The choice of the Traditional House as the venue for this year-end ‘reporting of achievements’ ceremony is truly a connection to tradition, leaving a lasting memory with the land where Vietnam’s textile and garment industry was born. I hope this sacred place will continue to inspire our cadres, Party members, and workers to have confidence in the Group’s future and in the fighting spirit of our team. Choosing this venue is also a promise by the current generation to those who came before us. We remain steadfast and determined to do even better, turning what is accidental into what is inevitable in the Group’s sustainable development strategy in the nation’s new era,” Chairman Le Tien Truong emphasized.
