ITMA ASIA + CITME 2025 took place from October 28–31, 2025, at Singapore EXPO. It is one of Asia’s leading exhibitions for textile machinery and technology, gathered top global manufacturers to showcase the latest research, innovations, sustainable solutions, and modern trends in the textile and apparel value chain.

Fostering international collaboration for sustainable development
ITMA ASIA + CITME 2025 brought together 840 enterprises from 30 countries and 30,000 industry experts, serving as a key business networking platform for the textile industry in Asia and worldwide, promoting sustainable development in the sector.
The Vietnam National Textile and Garment Group (Vinatex) delegation, led by Chairman Le Tien Truong and CEO Cao Huu Hieu along with leaders from key member units, attended ITMA ASIA + CITME 2025.
The presence of Vinatex’s top leadership reflected the Group’s strong commitment to technological innovation, green transformation, and digitalization, as well as its determination to deepen integration into the global textile value chain.
During the event, the delegation visited major exhibition areas to explore advanced technologies in spinning, weaving, dyeing, automation, and production management software, aiming to evaluate and identify suitable modern equipment and technologies for future investment. These measures designed to enhance production capacity, improve cost efficiency and product quality, and meet increasingly stringent international standards.
Meeting with major partners and discussing green technologies
At the exhibition, the Vinatex delegation met and worked with leading global textile technology suppliers such as Toyota, Trützschler, Rieter, LMW, Alcone, Muratec, and Texpro.
Discussions focused on key industry topics, including green transformation in production, adoption of energy- and cost-efficient technologies, development of smart factory models, and enhanced cost and risk management amid market volatility.
At ITMA ASIA + CITME 2025, the Vinatex delegation engaged with leading global textile technology companies, discussing emerging technological trends, automation, energy efficiency, and sustainable development.

Trützschler (Germany) showcased next-generation spinning, cleaning, and fiber recycling systems that enhance automation while reducing energy use and environmental impact.
Toyota and Muratec (Japan) presented weaving and spinning machines integrated with IoT, AI, and Vortex technology, demonstrating the potential for smart factories that Vinatex aims to develop—improving productivity, yarn quality, and labor cost efficiency.
LMW and Alcone (India) introduced high-efficiency, cost-competitive spinning and twisting equipment, well-suited to Vinatex’s production budget and helping diversify equipment sourcing.
Texpro (China) showcased technologies that green the dyeing and finishing supply chain, saving water, energy, and chemicals, along with smart management systems for dyeing factories.
Rieter (Switzerland) introduced a fully automated spinning system and technology to reuse recycled cotton fibers from textile waste to produce new high quality yarns

Vinatex’s participation in ITMA ASIA + CITME 2025 was a great success, bringing about many practical results. Through international meetings and exchanges, Vinatex gained valuable experience and strategic partnerships to support its technological innovation efforts, laying the foundation for equipment modernization, the application of advanced management practices, and the improvement of productivity and product quality.
