Established against the backdrop of new opportunities for the textile and garment industry, Branch of Vinatex – Nam Dinh Spinning Factory has navigated a decade marked by significant challenges, from the COVID-19 pandemic to the global yarn market downturn. Through flexible management strategies, technological investment, job preservation, and a human-centric approach, the Factory has steadily built its brand, tempered its resilience, and strengthened its capabilities to conquer an ever-changing yarn market.

A decade of Resilience Amid Market volatility
Established on July 1, 2016, Nam Dinh Spinning Factory is one of Vinatex’s key projects, equipped with modern, an integrated production line equipped with modern machinery from Europe. Following an initial phase focused on stabilizing production, training human resources, and developing market presence, the Factory faced consecutive major challenges, from the COVID-19 pandemic to a prolonged downturn in the global yarn industry between 2022 and 2025. Despite severe market conditions, volatile raw material prices, and numerous orders priced below cost, the Factory maintained continuous production, guaranteed jobs and stable income for workers, while proactively expanding its market, diversifying its product portfolio, and developing new yarn product lines.
After 10 years, the Factory achieved remarkable results: revenue rose from 275 billion VND to a peak of 420 billion VND, production volume grew from 4,100 tons to 5,000 tons, and the average monthly worker income increased from 7.9 million VND to 10.8 million VND. These achievements reflect the Factory’s flexible adaptive capacity amid market fluctuations, alongside steady support from the Group and the collective dedication of its staff and workers.
On the 10th anniversary, the Factory’s leadership recognized the contributions of long-standing employees who have been with the Factory since its early days. Management affirmed that it will continue implementing key solutions to boost production efficiency, expand market reach, optimize costs, enhance competitiveness, and secure employment and income improvements, laying a solid foundation for stable and sustainable growth in the coming years.

Unity for fast adaptation to new market and Technological demands
On the 10th anniversary, Branch of Vinatex – Nam Dinh Spinning Factory organized a series of meaningful activities to express gratitude to its workforce, promote corporate culture, and foster a spirit of emulation. Highlighted activities included a “bonding meal”; a birthday cake-cutting ceremony; the presentation of commemorative badges to employees with five or more years of service; the launch of a productivity emulation campaign; the strengthening of internal communications; and plans to hold a gathering of former employees as well as a staff retreat in 2026.
Many workers shared that they remain committed to the Mill due to its united working environment, stable welfare policies, and the genuine care shown by leadership. They expressed hopes that the Factory will continue investing in training on technology, automation, and specialized skills to help workers improve their craftsmanship, meet the demands of smart manufacturing, and contribute to the unit’s sustainable development.
The 10th anniversary celebration series was not only an occasion to look back on tradition, but also a catalyst for Nam Dinh Spinning Factory to drive innovation, boost business efficiency, and work toward a more sustainable growth phase. This aligns closely with the Vietnam National Textile and Garment Group’s development strategy to enhance competitiveness and elevate the position of its yarn segment within the global textile and garment value chain.
