On 2nd October, at the New Economy Forum 2025 and the 22nd Strong Brand Awards, Vietnam National Textile and Garment Group (Vinatex) was honored among the Top 10 Enterprises with Outstanding Growth and Global Reach, out of 80 Enterprises awarded as Vietnam Strong Brands 2025. Mr. Le Tien Truong, Chairman of Vinatex, was named among the Top 10 Outstanding Vietnamese Entrepreneurs, recognized for his remarkable contributions to the nation’s journey of Innovation – Integration – Global Reach.
At the Vietnam New Economy Forum, the 22nd Vietnam Strong Brand Award took place in a festive atmosphere — celebrating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day (2nd September), as well as the 21st anniversary of Vietnam Entrepreneurs’ Day. In 2025, the program surveyed and recognized the efforts and achievements of hundreds of Vietnamese enterprises and FDI companies that have operated effectively, made significant contributions to the development of various industries, local economies, and the overall growth of Vietnam’s economy.
Vinatex was honored among the Top 10 breakthrough enterprises out of 80 companies recognized as Vietnam Strong Brands 2025, affirming its reputation as a corporation with outstanding achievements and excellence in investment, production, and business operations. The Group has been a pioneer in innovation, digital transformation, green transition, and sustainable development, while also demonstrating a strong commitment to corporate social responsibility toward the community and the environment.

At the event, Dr. Le Tien Truong – Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vinatex – was named among the top 10 outstanding Vietnamese Entrepreneurs to the Nation’s journey of Innovation – Integration – Global Reach.
“Dr. Le Tien Truong has made significant contributions to Vietnam’s textile and garment industry. As Chairman of Vinatex, from strategic vision to value chain management, market development, and production organization, he has introduced transformative initiatives that have driven growth and enabled Vinatex along with other enterprises in the sector to proactively adapt to global trends” – the Organizing Committee representative remarked.

Within the Forum’s framework, Dr. Le Tien Truong participated in a panel discussion on solutions to strengthen internal capacity, develop new economic models, and enhance Vietnam’s position in the global supply chain. He contributed many valuable insights drawn from his extensive experience managing one of the country’s leading enterprises in the textile and garment industry.
Over the 40 years of Doi Moi Vietnam has achieved remarkable milestones: the economy now ranks 34th globally in size, with GDP exceeding USD 470 billion in 2024; total import-export turnover reached USD 786 billion, placing Vietnam among the world’s top 20 economies in trade and foreign investment attraction. These accomplishments owe much to the vital contributions of the business community and Vietnamese entrepreneurs, with Vinatex and its Chairman, Dr. Le Tien Truong standing out as exemplary representatives.
